EMMA SPENCER
Principal
Emma began dancing aged 3 at the successful Julie Bromage Dance Academy in Warwickshire before continuing her professional vocational training at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy and London Studio Centre in London.
Emma went on to have a successful career as a professional performer spanning over 12 years. She travelled the world as a dancer and lead vocalist working with, Carnival Cruise Lines, Openwide International, Q'DOS Entertainment to name a few. As an actress she appeared on television programmes such as Holby City and The Commander as well as appearing in several music videos.
Emma has over twenty years experience teaching theatre and dance to both children and adults across the country. She is also a respected choreographer with a specialism in staging work with young people and has had her choreography showcased in the West End many times.
Emma has a passion for teaching and nurturing children and the time felt right to establish her own school. Following the success of her Leyton school, she is excited to bring her dynamic children's classes to Folkestone.

As patron of The Boards, Kieran fully endorses our school and will be offering advice and professional support to our students. He is also Head of Musical Theatre at the popular Performers College.
Kieran trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts, graduating with Distinction in Performing Arts.
